Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Multi Commodities Center Authority since October 2021, United Arab Emirates.

He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National General Insurance Company since 2010, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deyaar Development Company since May 2022, and a member of the Board of Directors of Dubai Islamic Bank and Al Shafar General Contracting Company. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National General Insurance Company. Honorary Member of the World Federation of Chambers of Commerce of the International Chamber of Commerce in France.

He assumed the position of President and Director General of the Dubai Chamber between 2006 and 2022, President of the World Federation of Chambers of Commerce between 2019 and 2022, Vice President of the same Federation between 2010 and 2018, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Dubai Multi Commodities Center between 2018 and 2021, and Managing Director of Dubai World Group, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hawkamah Institute for Corporate Governance between 2012 and 2019.

He served as a member of the Board of Directors of “ Dubai World Group ” between 2010 and 2023, “Dubai International Financial Center Authority” and “ Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates ” between 2012 and 2018, “Network International” between 2011 and 2012, and “ Emirates Bank. ” NBD between 2006 and 2011.

He chaired the board of directors of “Diners Club Emirates” between 2008 and 2011, and held the position of Secretary-General of the “ Dubai Economic Council ” between 2004 and 2006, and commercial director at “HSBC Bank” between 2002 and 2004. He also worked as a lecturer in financial and banking sciences at “ United Arab Emirates University between 1999 and 2002, and a principal systems engineer in the Planning and Development Department at the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority between 1997 and 1999, and a planning engineer in the same department between 1996 and 1997.

He holds a Master’s in Business Administration, specializing in Banking and Financial Affairs in 2002 from the University of Missouri in the United States of America, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1996 from the University of Southern California.
